2017 NEPAL MEDICAL TRIP
In September 2017, a medical team of 3 doctors, 3 nurses and 1 physiotherapist collaborated with the local community to provide primary health in 4 different villages. Due to the natural terrain of Nepal, the team was required to hike an average of 2 hours to the villages where they saw a total of 196 patients in the 4 villages.
The team also visited the Hetauda Hospital to build relationship with the local hospital as well as to observe the hospital system in Nepal.
On Saturday, 23rd of September, the team went to Naya Basti to visit MM&M sponsored students to see how the students were doing. The team also took the opportunity to better understand the situation so the MM&M Education team know how they can best support the students in future.
