In September 2017, a medical team of 3 doctors, 3 nurses and 1 physiotherapist collaborated with the local community to provide primary health in 4 different villages.  Due to the natural terrain of Nepal, the team was required to hike an average of 2 hours to the villages where they saw a total of 196 patients in the 4 villages.

The team also visited the Hetauda Hospital to build relationship with the local hospital as well as to observe the hospital system in Nepal.

On Saturday, 23^rd of September, the team went to Naya Basti to visit MM&M sponsored students to see how the students were doing. The team also took the opportunity to better understand the situation so the MM&M Education team know how they can best support the students in future.
